Catawba Queen (or Catawba Bell)

Enjoy a dinner cruise on beautiful Lake Norman, home to many Winston Cup and Busch drivers. Aboard the Catawba Queen you will dine on their choice of Prime Rib or Steamed Shrimp, while gliding quietly on the restored paddle wheeler.

North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame and Museum

Here you will learn about the roots of today's fastest growing sport and the evolution from its humble beginnings as "good ole boys runnin' shine" to the multi-million dollar industry of today. Featured here are race cars from the past, dragsters, Winston Cup, and an impressive collection of muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. There is a vast display of memorabilia from the past, as well as racing art.

Lakeside Park Walk-About
Lakeside Park is home to several Winston Cup and Busch teams, as well as souvenir shopping opportunities. You may choose to visit Penske Racing, the home of Rusty Wallace's #2 Miller Lite Ford Taurus, Jasper Motorsports, Jeremy Mayfield, Picky Rudd, Sterling Martin, and Jason Leffler. Busch teams include: Greg Biffle, Jeff Green and Jason Keller. Souvenir shopping is highlighted by a visit to Simpson World, the number one manufacturer of safety equipment for NASCAR, and JR's Garage, the official store for Rousch Racing and Team Caliber Diecast.

Joe Gibbs Racing

This facility is home to #18 Bobby LaBonte, the current Winston Cup Champion, and #20, the up and coming Tony Stewart. Featured at this shop is an introductory background video, and one of the best viewing opportunities in the industry where
guests are able to view the final assembly area for both teams. Joe Gibbs, former coach of the NFL's Washington Redskins, also has a personal display featuring his accomplishments, including Super Bowl rings, etc.

Lowes Motor Speedway

Boy, those Winston Cup guys sure make it look easy! Have you ever been in a vehicle at 165 mph? Here is your chance.
A lap around the track highlights this tour followed by photo opportunities in Victory Circle. You will ride in a Winston
Cup car for three laps at speeds approaching 165 mph. WARNING! It has been known to take weeks to get the grin wiped off your face! These rides are provided through either the Richard Petty Driving Experience or Andy Hiflenberg's Fast Track driving school. Also featured is the history of the Speedway, and a tour of the pit area, including the garage area, inspection area, and pit lane.

Lancaster's
This restaurant establishment has become a landmark in the racing industry. Decorated totally in NASCAR motif, it is the
place where fans and drivers come to eat and meet!

Hendrick Motor Sports and Museum

Home of 3 time Winston Cup Champion Jeff Gordon, 2 Time Champion Terry LaBonte, and rising star Jerry Nadeau, this location represents racing success to a very high degree. Guests will be able to enter the shop of Terry La Bonte and be mere
feet away from the crew as they work on the cars, as well as watch the #24 and #25 crews from a designated area. The
museum at Hendricks features many unique displays, including the car destroyed at Talladega while being driven by Ken Schrader at over 200 mph, an exploded model of a Winston Cup car, detailed component displays, past and present race cars - even the car driven by Tom Cruise in the movie "Days of Thunder."

The Garage-Mahal, Dale Earnhardt Inc. -

Home to the race teams of Dale Earnhardt Jr., Steve Park, Michael Waltrip, and ARCA star Kerry Earnhardt. Without question the grandest jewel in race shops, and since the loss of a 7 time champion, a shrine to the sport. This shop differs from others as it does not focus on race cars, but through changing displays attempts to afford a glimpse into the more personal side and business side of racing. Guests are given the opportunity to shop the most extensive collection of Earnhardt merchandise available.

Memory Lane Museum
If you are a true race fan, this stop is sure to give you a rush of nostalgia like you have never had before. Remember the coupes? Rumble seats? The car Dale Earnhardt won his first clash with? How about Tim Flock and JOCK 0? You will see it here, as well as many other displays of the racing and motoring past.

5 OFF 5 ON Pit Crew Training Facility

Here, guests will start with classroom instruction, and then have the opportunity to see if they have the "right stuff' as a tire carrier, tire changer, and a jack man, under pit stop conditions on a Winston Cup car. This two-hour experience is a must for anyone to appreciate the talent it takes for today's crews to perform at the sport's highest level. (It is recommended guests wear something they don't mind getting a little dirty.)

Sam Bass Gallery
Sam Bass, the most celebrated motorsport artist of our time, famous for his paintings of racing stars, and his graphic design
work on many of today's race cars, and transporters, has opened a new gallery featuring many of his works. Guests will
receive a "goody bag" to commemorate their visit, and for groups of 15 or more, it can be arranged for Sam to greet the
group and sign autographs.

Jean and Tim join Mrs. Martha Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt's mother, at the Charlotte NTA's Ice Breaker at Lowe's Speedway. You may want to include a Private Reception with Mrs. Earnhardt with your NASCAR package.
