Mayberry Days (A Celebration of Andy Griffith Days the Last Week of September Each Year---Exact Dates TBA)
9:00 pm - Movie: No Time for Sergeants at the
Downtown Cinema Theatre. 11:00 am - Mayberry Days Proclamation at Old City Hall - mayor and city commissioners on hand for official welcome to Maybeny Days special guests, entertainment. 12 noon - Lunch at the world famous Snappy Lunch (included). 1:30 pm - Neal Brower's lecture on TAGS related subject at Downtown Cinema Theatre OR some from the group can go back to the Andy Griffith Playhouse and enjoy live music and play some checkers, etc. 3:00 pm Doug Dillard Matinee at the Andy Griffith Playhouse. 7:00 pm "Memories of Elvis" concert at Downtown
Cinema Theatre. Saturday 2:00 pm - Mayberry Days Country Revue (variety show featuring Mayberry days guests) at the Andy Griffith Playhouse. 5:00 pm TAGSRWC The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club) Annual Meeting and Dinner at the Downtown Cinema Theatre. 7:30 pm "Smoke on the Mountain" - Downtown Cinema Theatre - Southern Gospel musical comedy.
