Mayberry Days (A Celebration of Andy Griffith Days the Last Week of September Each Year---Exact Dates TBA)

Thursday
5:30 pm - Dinner and Entertainment at Cross Creek Country Club includes an all-you-can-eat Southern Buffet with appearances and entertainment by special Mayberry Days guests.

9:00 pm - Movie: No Time for Sergeants at the Downtown Cinema Theatre.

Friday
Morning trip to the Mount Airy Visitor's Center for guided tour of Andy Griffith Memorabilia by Emmett Forrest, childhood friend of Andy's, short video orientation to Mount Airy and other attractions.

11:00 am - Mayberry Days Proclamation at Old City Hall - mayor and city commissioners on hand for official welcome to Maybeny Days special guests, entertainment.

12 noon - Lunch at the world famous Snappy Lunch (included).

1:30 pm - Neal Brower's lecture on TAGS related subject at Downtown Cinema Theatre OR some from the group can go back to the Andy Griffith Playhouse and enjoy live music and play some checkers, etc.

3:00 pm Doug Dillard Matinee at the Andy Griffith Playhouse.

7:00 pm "Memories of Elvis" concert at Downtown Cinema Theatre.

Saturday
9:00 am - Mayberry Days Parade. Following the parade, go to the Andy Griffith Playhouse for autographs from the stars and to eat some delicious barbecue - Mount Airy will be hosting the Mayberry Days Pig Cookin' Contest and judges from the NC Pork Council will be on hand to present awards along with the Mayberry Days special guests, numerous activities and booths at the Playhouse.

2:00 pm - Mayberry Days Country Revue (variety show featuring Mayberry days guests) at the Andy Griffith Playhouse.

5:00 pm TAGSRWC The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club) Annual Meeting and Dinner at the Downtown Cinema Theatre.

7:30 pm "Smoke on the Mountain" - Downtown Cinema Theatre - Southern Gospel musical comedy.

Package Includes:
3 Night's accommodations
Luggage handling of 1 bag per person

Lunch as mentioned on the itinerary
